THE PEONY PHILOSOPHY
The woman is the center of care. Her plan should be too.
Peony PRO exists to help practitioners support the whole woman through breast cancer—with evidence, humility, collaboration, and clear professional boundaries.
WHY THIS MATTERS
One woman. Many experts. One connected picture.
Breast cancer care is highly specialized. A woman experiences one continuous life across all of it.
What is often missing is not expertise, but connection between the parts.
Peony helps practitioners understand more of the journey around their own work, collaborate across disciplines, and keep the woman at the center.
WHAT ALREADY EXISTS
We are not starting from zero.
Health systems around the world are already building navigation and support roles around cancer care.
The question is increasingly clear: who helps a woman navigate everything cancer asks of her outside the treatment itself?
WHAT IS STILL MISSING
The life around the treatment.
Navigation often focuses on appointments, referrals, access, and treatment.
The wider experience—sleep, movement, nutrition, emotional health, menopause, family, work, recovery, and supportive care—is still harder to connect.
Peony is designed to strengthen that layer without replacing clinical care.
WHO BUILDS IT
The practitioners already in her life.
Coaches, integrative practitioners, nutrition professionals, therapists, nurses, rehabilitation specialists, women's health providers, advocates, and others already support women through parts of this journey.
Peony PRO gives them more breast cancer context, clearer tools, and stronger connection across disciplines.
For those called to a deeper navigation role, the Integrative Healthcare Advocate Certificate is the next pathway.
FIVE PRINCIPLES
What guides our work.
Woman-centered.
Her priorities, questions, values, and choices remain visible throughout care.
Evidence-informed.
We distinguish established evidence, evolving evidence, uncertainty, and unsupported claims.
Collaborative.
Conventional oncology, supportive care, rehabilitation, psychosocial support, and appropriate complementary care work best when roles and boundaries are clear.
Whole-person.
Treatment matters—and so do sleep, movement, nutrition, emotional health, relationships, work, sexuality, recovery, and daily life.
Within scope.
Learning beyond your discipline improves context. It does not expand your license, credential, or authority.
OUR POSTURE
Integrative is not alternative.
Peony supports evidence-based oncology treatment and responsibly integrated supportive care. We do not promote unproven alternatives to cancer treatment or imply that every modality has the same evidence.
THE MIDWIFERY INFLUENCE
Lessons in organizing support.
Peony draws from midwifery's design principles: continuity, preparation, shared decision-making, respect for the woman, and support across a long arc. Birth and cancer are not clinically equivalent. The transferable lesson is how to organize support around a person moving through complex care.

The Members-Only Classroom builds shared understanding.
The Care Plan Practitioner Toolkit turns it into practice.
